I find it very funny when masses fight with each other over the honesty of their respective leaders. Even after being with myself for three decades I am not very sure if I am completely honest or dishonest. Yes, I have never intentionally did anything wrong, but I am sure some of my actions would have hurt someone emotionally if not physically. How are people so cock-sure that their political leader is no less than a personified God, baffles me always.
The world was first ruled by emperors, kings and queens. Then a phase came where monarchy paved way for the democracy in most of the countries. I have always wondered why do governments change- is it because power corrupts or is there any other factor too at play. I think there are two reasons why the governments will keep changing and masses who bet their success on the leader of the country will always be disappointed.
- Power makes you dishonest- Lets say your current prime minister is a honest person, then technically he should be in power forever. However, the government changes after every 5,10 or maximum 15 years. So does that mean the leader became dishonest because of the power. Maybe yes the person was corrupted by power. Maybe the person was always dishonest and manage to maintain his perception for 5,10 or 15 years and when the reality came out, people voted him out of power.
- Stupidity of the masses makes an honest leader lose- Masses are not always smart. Our country gives voting power to everyone above 18. This means anyone over 18 is a voting director on the board of the country. Thus the ability of a country to vote for the right leader is based upon the balance between the smart and the stupid people of the country. There are a lot of factors at play but I am trying to keep it simple. We cannot expect a right verdict if a wise person judged by 99 fools. Never underestimated the foolishness of conditioned masses.
Thus go with what appears to be the best-fit for the moment. Use your wisdom and vote after doing your research. Once you have voted shut-up if you want peace of mind. Make sure you waste not a second of your time and an inch of your social media wall on politics. There are enough people doing that already and blogs like these offend them because they are made to believe that the country is working because of them and their opinion matters. Masses are made to believe that they are important and they can change the country. You stand a better chance of changing a country by becoming important and successful than by following a political leader of spewing venom against his opponent.
Do yourself a favor and spend your time on your goals. You and your 200 friends on social media will not change the nation.
